Teaching Online Courses
Beginning in the Spring of 2011, LCISD will begin offering online courses to students.  In an effort to get the teachers who will be teaching these courses prepared, I have developed a 5-week online course that will allow them to experience learning as a student in an online classroom.  To view the course, you will need to log in as "student" and the password is "student."

Online Administrator Book Study
This course is an online book study of Don't Bother Me Mom, I'm Learning by Mark Prensky, for administrators.  The course was designed to introduce the online learning environment to principals in hopes that they would push a hybrid environment on their campuses.  To view the course, you will need to log in as "student" and the password is "student."

INTERACT Academy
I was part of the development and deployment of a professional development program called INTERACT (Integrating Technology Realistically Among Classroom Teachers).  The academy enforces the use of Marzano's instructional strategies while integrating technology to teach those strategies.  The academy is a week long and we use this course to house all of our assignments and resources.  To view the course, you will need to log in as "student" and the password is "student."

Moving into Moodle
This course is designed to show you how you can use Moodle in your classroom (K-12). The idea behind the course was to cover a variety of subject areas using as many resources and activities as possible.  To view the course, you will need to log in as "student" and the password is "student."

Course Template
In designing online professional development courses, we encourage the instructors to use the 5e model.  This is a course template that is used to start building a new course. This is only the SHELL of a course.  It has not content in it.  To view the course, you will need to log in as "student" and the password is "student."

High School Art I

I am in the process of working on an online Art I course for high school. You can log in as guest and the enrollment key is "example."  Please keep in mind this is a work in progress.
